Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) would like to invite you to “the Night Owl Session”, a panel talk on“How Social Media (and other online tools) can Change our World”.

The Night Owl Session is a part of the Security Days conference, which will gather prominent practitioners, experts in the field from academia, think tanks, civil society, and the media. The Security Days conference is an opportunity to look at both current and future challenges to security, as well as, to share new thinking and innovative solutions.

The Night Owl Session is a participatory panel discussion on “How Social Media (and other online tools) can Change our World”. The idea is to give a voice to young people who are creating security in their communities through online media. The event will feature speakers who are innovators, entrepreneurs, trail blazers’ and change makers in their local communities. As active participation is welcomed and encouraged, comments and questions can be sent prior to and during the event via Twitter, @OSCE, using the hashtag #secdays. The event will also be streamed live for those who cannot attend. There will be opportunities for the audience to ask questions both in person, via social media and through live web-casting.
